Quite annoying if I'm fixing up improperly categorized transactions or if I'm trying to sleuth details of transactions that I can't figure out. I also miss the ability to easily jump to a linked transaction (cmd-], if I recall correctly for Quicken 2007) - it appears that I have to manually find it. Perhaps not a bad solution, as it helps prevent accidentally creating duplicate transactions in an active account. I have to create new accounts to import a QIF, and then copy/paste those into the actual account. Missing is import of QIF's into an account - my HSA only outputs CSV's, which I can then convert to a QIF. In short, I miss the incredible flexibility of the old Reports panel, but Quicken 2017 is functional enough to serve my needs. A few things are annoying, like it took LOTS of clicks to get specific subsets of categories I wanted for a report, where is in the 2007 it seems as if I could do a simple query to get those. Some of the interface is different, and it takes a few tries to get similar results to the very complete Quicken 2007 Reports options. but I'm open to trying the new process. It is unclear to me how well that will work - checking to see what categories need to be changed, which transactions didn't match up properly, etc. Quicken 2017 seems to put all downloaded transactions directly into the relevant account, flagging new transactions for verification. However, in Quicken 2007 - downloads were held in a "holding pen" where you needed to OK matches or edit categories before releasing them to your account.
I did all of my immediately relevant downloads BEFORE I upgraded to 2017, in case there were hiccups there, so it was not heavily tested. I'm not sure I have the auto-download thing down.

In fact, some things set up for automatic download that weren't set up prior - e.g., it is nice to see my retirement portfolio updated automatically. Downloads were occasionally difficult to set up, and one download took some shenanigans following online advice, but I had success with all accounts with which I previously had online access. Import of old data was smooth and uneventful. This year, I upgraded to Quicken 2017 from Quicken 2007, for Mac. Every purchase/transaction that goes through our household is categorized.
